CDS may use information to create and secure accounts, organise courses and lessons, communicate service updates, record learning progress, support school administration, and maintain operational records.

The portal uses Identity accounts, role assignments, account email details, password credentials, security tokens, and sign-in records to provide and protect access. Passwords are handled by the existing ASP.NET Core Identity system rather than displayed within CDS pages.

Lesson dates, times, instructors, attendance, outcomes, replacement sessions, progress, skill ratings, recommendations, and student feedback may be recorded to deliver training and maintain a coherent lesson history.

CDS records theory attempts, selected answers, scores, completion times, pass results, study activity, and practice progress so learners can review results and continue their preparation.

Messages may include their sender, student, lesson reference, content, delivery and seen status, timestamps, and optional files. Lesson session records may also contain optional evidence or documents uploaded by authorised users.

Administrative records may include customer or student details, invoice items and totals, payment amount and date, payment method, references, applications to invoices, balances, and accounting entries. CDS uses these records to administer fees and maintain financial records.

Authentication cookies are used to keep signed-in sessions working. The selected Day Drive or Night Drive theme is stored in the browser, and short-lived browser session storage supports page transitions. Browser settings can affect these features.

Where an email address is available and email is configured, CDS may send lesson scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, attendance, replacement, session-record, and course updates through its configured email provider. Delivery attempts and outcomes may be recorded.

CDS relies on service infrastructure such as website and database hosting and, when configured, an SMTP email provider. The project does not currently show a public analytics service, social-login provider, or direct online payment processor integration.

Records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet administrative needs, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. CDS has not published fixed retention periods on this page.

CDS uses authenticated accounts, role- and permission-based access, antiforgery protection, and application data-protection services as part of operating the portal. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so suspicious activity should be reported promptly.

You may contact CDS to ask what information is associated with your account, request correction of inaccurate information, ask about account access, or raise a privacy concern. Some business, finance, safety, or legal records may need to be retained.

The current public registration form does not state a specific age rule. Learners or guardians should confirm course and account eligibility directly with CDS before submitting information.
